Running Blog Entry #3

On today's run, I ran with my sister, India. We had planned this run earlier in the week so we were both prepared to do this run, although we both had quite a lot of work to complete, which made it quite difficult to fit this run in. The run that we completed today was the trail that I did for my first run but continued on to make a loop. From my first run, I already felt a difference in how I was running and felt that it was much easier for me to run the first 1km. After the first kilometer, there was a very steep uphill which made the rest of the run quite challenging because we were both very tired from it. We were originally planning on running over 4km but we were both quite tired from the run already and felt that we couldn't run any further.

One thing that I noticed helps me when running is music. I find that whatever song I am listening too, I follow the beat with my steps, so that faster the beat is to the music, the faster I run. Music also helps me take my mind away from running and distracts me, which helps me to run further.
