Hey! So Glad You're Here.

Hello! My name is Anya McDonald. I am a grade 10 student at Hong Kong Academy. Currently, at my school, we are doing a personal project where we chose an activity to do for a 6 month period. For my project, I chose to start running. Over the past year, I have noticed that I started to enjoy running and would do short runs whenever I could, but I never seemed to get the motivation to continue through with it long runs. I thought that this project would be the perfect time to encourage myself and start going on more frequent runs.

While I am on my journey of running, I want to improve not only my motivation to go on runs, but see how my mental and physical health change while I run. To improve my motivation, I have set a personal goal to eventually achieve a running distance of 10km. Alongside, I will journal any differences to my mental and physical wellbeing I notice when running. But I don't want to only focus on my running goal, I also want to run so that I can begin to run for fun or in my free time.
