Running Blog Entry #4

Today I ran the same route as my last run, but this time I ran by myself. I also added an extra 2km into the run, so I could run 5km. To add the 2km into the run, I had to repeat a section of the run twice. I felt like this made me struggle more than expected because I knew that I could easily stop the run and go home because it was where I started the run. I was feeling very motivated for this run until this point in the run. This made the rest of my run quite challenging because I knew that I could've stopped running after repeating the first part of the run. However, once I continued to run, I found that it got eventually got easier to run because I knew that I was coming close to the end of the run. Throughout the run, there was a few times where I felt that I needed to stop, but to not stop I would set myself running goals and tell myself that I could rest once I reach it, but once I reached the goal, I would tell myself that I can keep on running until I reached another goal. This was the best way for me to continue running. I often run on Wednesdays because that is the day when I don't have any sports after school, so I am able to go on a run and because I often feel motivated after runs, I am able to complete any work that I need.
